There’s a library in the hotel that’s great for quiet reading, though there are no TVs in the rooms. The location is superb for the price: take the airport express, then it’s a short walk from the final stop. There’s loads of food nearby, and the hotel feels clean and cosy. The rooms are small, so it suits solo travellers or couples. They aren’t soundproof, and you can easily hear people talking in the corridor, but it’s still very good value.

I loved the library inside, which is such a thoughtful design idea. The layout is minimal and carefully planned, with everything you need and attention to detail throughout. It was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and definitely my favourite in China. I wish I’d had more time there and will absolutely come back. They also accept foreign guests, which isn’t a given at most hotels in China.

Fantastic location beside the monorail and close to the airport. A top experience, highly recommended.

The rooms were tidy and nice. Staff didn’t speak English, so bring a translation app.
