Damon Wu, the breakfast manager, greeted us so warmly each morning, and Xena Li was especially kind and attentive with our children. They helped make breakfast comfortable for the whole family. We also loved the fresh breakfast choices and the wide selection. The service throughout our stay felt professional and thoughtful. We had a great time at Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel and would gladly come back.

We were traveling with a big group of family and friends, including three kids, and breakfast was much easier thanks to Damon Wu and Xena Li. Damon was welcoming and professional each morning, and kept things running smoothly even with a busy service and a large group. Xena was patient and attentive to the children, always noticing what they needed and how they were feeling. Their warmth made our mornings more enjoyable and left us with a really good impression of the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel. We’d happily stay again and recommend it.

Rocco, our concierge master, made getting around much easier with his help and insider Chinese tips. He was skilled, professional, and pleasant. Cocco, who managed the club, was attentive to details and helped us find the best accommodation at the tables. Mia and Audrey were great too. The hotel itself was stunning, with clean rooms, diverse and delicious food, and a convenient spot within walking distance of the Forbidden city and Tiennammen Square. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. We already miss everyone. Thanks for a great experience.

Coco Wei made check-in feel easy and welcoming, almost like coming home. She was friendly and kind from the moment we arrived, and her hospitality made our stay at Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel even nicer. We appreciated how well she looked after us. We’d love to come back the next time we’re in Beijing.

The location is good, and the room’s small size was understandable given where the hotel is. Still, the room felt dated, and water leaked all night, disturbing our sleep. We were traveling with children but ended up in rooms on different floors. Maybe the hotel was full, or maybe they didn’t make enough effort. I can’t say which. The service overall fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel, and of other Renaissance hotels we’ve stayed at. The room had poor quality coffee powder, no fresh milk for it, and no water waiting when we arrived. After a long journey and the time needed to check in, even a glass of water would have been welcome. The hotel missed a lot of the small details we expected. The location is a plus, but the rest didn’t meet expectations.
