Really nice hotel.

Great experience, and the price felt very good for what they offer. The place was clean and modern, with an excellent location. Beijing is huge, though, so as Europeans we took taxis anyway. Some parts of the hospitality and service don’t feel like they do in Europe, but that’s down to local traditions rather than the hotel. Totally enjoyed it.

I booked this place by chance through a Trip website hotel and flight deal, and ended up having a fantastic stay. Even my room beside the elevator was quiet at night, and the Wi-Fi stayed stable. Housekeeping were attentive and enthusiastic, leaving a note after each cleaning. The front desk staff were especially helpful and polite. They handled the tickets I needed for the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, explained directions, and arranged transportation to each place. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station, so it was convenient for reaching most attractions. There’s plenty nearby too: a police station, convenience stores and restaurants across the street, and several larger supermarkets within 200-500 meters where fruit was very cheap. I’d book here again if I get the chance to return to Beijing.

We ended up staying here for a little over a week after an unexpected situation in Beijing, and it felt like home. The neighborhood has a relaxed charm, with a restaurant across the street open until 1 am, plus a fruit shop, hair salon, and convenience store. The hotel feels a bit far from the main attractions for sightseeing, though Line 10 from Panjiayuan Station gets you close to almost everywhere. Rooms are spacious and nice, service is excellent, and they provide as much water and coffee as you need. There’s a small gym and free self-service laundry, and the whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere.
