The breakfast was a real plus, with a good 30 RMB buffet full of tasty, authentic northern Chinese classics. The rooms themselves were comfortable and had no smell, though the hallway felt run-down and smelled of cigarettes. It was one of the few hotels I found that accepted foreign guests after COVID, and it’s only a three-minute walk from the train station. A handy place to rest before a train.

The restaurant and buffet downstairs served cheap, authentic food that tasted great. This is a large hotel right by Beijing West station, with clean rooms and good facilities. The bathrooms felt modern and came with shampoo and soap.

There’s a row of restaurants across the main road from the hotel, open from morning until night. The hotel is right in front of Beijing West Station, which made it easy to catch an early train. The room was comfortable, the price reasonable, and the WiFi strong. Excellent.
