Ruizhao Guomao

The rooms feel cozy, the bed is great, and the service has been good. They clean daily and replenish the bottled water, and the 100yuan check-in deposit was returned right away when I checked out. I’ve stayed at Ruizhao three times already and plan to come back. The location is a big part of why. Guomao (Guomao) Central Business District is a 10-minute walk away, Shuangjing Shuangjing Metro Station is seven minutes away, and Tiananmen Tiananmen Square is four or five stops by metro. I lived in Beijing and like visiting all sorts of places, so this spot works really well for me. They’ve also finally removed the 20-year-old carpet from the corridor. Thanks, Ruizhao!

We stayed seven nights, but the housekeeping was poor. The sheets weren't changed, the floor wasn't cleaned, and they didn't refill the shampoo or bath soap. The hotel staff also couldn't speak English, which was a major problem.

The room was quiet and roomy, and the welcome was fantastic. I stayed for three days in February. The location was handy too, with a 7-Eleven and a McDonald's both about 800 meters away.

Getting around by subway was easy. The hotel is in the city, around a 10-minute walk from the 10 train line. The rooms are laid out well and it's a good hotel, though the internet felt a little slow.
