The building itself is plain, but the hostel inside feels like home. It’s a cozy, well-furnished place in Sanlitun, with a comfortable living room and a very friendly owner who speaks several languages and seems to have traveled a lot. You can choose a bed in a shared room or a tent for an even cheaper stay. Men and women have separate rooms and bathrooms for privacy, and the shared bathrooms are clean enough, with plenty of hot water for the colder months.

It was so clean and cozy, and really felt like home. The owner and his family were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the customer service was great. 💕
