The staff are what set The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing apart. Everyone I dealt with was thoughtful and quick to respond, especially Victoria. When they learned we were there for our wedding ceremony, they proactively arranged a surprise for us, which meant a lot. As a Titanium member, I've had one of my best hotel stays in recent years here. The facilities are above average even by Ritz-Carlton standards, and the atmosphere made the whole visit very enjoyable. I like trying new hotels when I travel, but in Beijing this may be the only one I consider from now on. The staff's warmth and professionalism really stand out.

The Executive Lounge at the top of the building was a highlight, and Nicole kindly helped me enjoy a great afternoon tea. I also found everything I needed at the excellent fitness centre, with tip-top service. At the buffet breakfast, Leander looked after me, and Daisy and Ranky made my very early checkout smooth and prepared a breakfast to take with me to the airport. I was in the capital for a two-night business trip and had a lovely, practical suite with great city views. Melissa, Tina, and Amily gave me a royal welcome, escorted me to the room, and made check-in very quick. It was a pleasant stay, and I felt genuinely cared for by the Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton. I could sense General Manager Alfonso's leadership and the hotel's quality throughout. I'll be back soon.

The rooms were very spacious, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Dinner service got a little slow later in the evening, but the staff were very friendly. Coco at reception was especially helpful, arranging a taxi to the airport when our DiDi wouldn't work.

The rooms were nice, but the service left a pretty average impression. Our airport pickup driver couldn't be found, and the QR code room service ordering wasn't straightforward. I thought my order had gone through, waited over 30 minutes, then called and learned it hadn't been placed. A document that was supposed to be dropped off in my room never arrived either. At breakfast, staff didn't understand a simple order. English overall was relatively limited. Maybe I was just unlucky with the service, but one bad experience is enough to leave a poor impression.
