You’re only a few meters from Qianmen at The Yard Hotel, with plenty of food, shopping and tourist spots nearby. The area is very accessible, though working out the hotel’s local name was a little tricky. Didi can only drop off or pick up across the street at designated spots, so that’s worth considering with luggage, older people or kids. Our room was nice and spacious. During our 6 day stay in China I didn’t encounter bidets in bathrooms. The A/C was a little wonky and needed adjusting several times. The downstairs concierge were nice, but there can be a language barrier, and they use translation apps. Patience helps everywhere. Service was pretty basic.
