Wyndham Beijing North

The morning buffet was decent, with juices, coffee, soy milk, and a variety of other options. Still, dining here was difficult: the steak restaurant had run out of stock, and the Chinese restaurant had very few items available. There aren't many places to eat nearby, and nothing is within walking distance. The Wi-Fi was so weak I had to rely on mobile data the whole time. Also, the beds are separate, which couples should keep in mind. We stayed as part of a Trip A Deal tour.

A huge banquet hall and a large number of rooms, along with a pool, spa, and plenty of other amenities. For me, this is the best hotel available in Beijing.

The station is a bit far away, but the room itself was a clean, well-kept duplex. Room service responded quickly, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including Western, Japanese, and Chinese food. The restaurant was bright, with an open ceiling window.

The spa was the highlight for me. It was open 24 hours and reasonably priced, so after a long day with the tour group I could swim, unwind in the sauna, shower back in my room, and then get a massage. I tried both the foot and full body massages, and liked them a lot. Both included foot baths. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with a lovely, roomy bathroom. I did find the thermostat confusing. Breakfast gets crowded early, so seating can be tight. There were only a few Western choices and lots of Chinese food, but I always found enough to eat.
