The rooms have everything you need, and the hotel is clean and well cared for. The front desk can speak English, and there’s a buffet breakfast plus a drink bar in the lobby. It’s in Beijing’s Olympic Village, close to Beishatan sub-railway station, with McDonald's across the road and banks nearby. The airport shuttle bus stops right outside. The only awkward part is how narrow the corridors are.

The price doesn't feel justified by what you get. My room had no windows and smelled bad, and the gym is tiny, with only enough equipment for a small workout. They provide 1 liter of water per day. Staff speak very little English, just a few words, so you’ll need some Mandarin or another way to communicate.

The rooms are roomy, and the beds are comfortable in this modern hotel associated with best western. There are several restaurants inside, plus a small convenience store near the lobby. wu market and 7-11 are close by too for food, drinks, snacks, or other essentials.

Breakfast was good, with one different western item served each morning. I was here with my school group and had no problems during the stay. I had a really good time and wish more people would come here.

So excited to finally make it to Beijing. This photo was taken before the pandemic. The hotel used to house Olympic athletes in 2008, which made being here especially exciting. The room was good, and so was the breakfast menu.
