I was in the A wing of North star Yayuncun hotel recently. The room service was really good and the breakfast was enough. The staff were very courteous and found ways to help, even though many didn't speak English. Olympic park and Anlilu subway station are both quite close.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I liked how quick the cab ride was to the venue when I was there for the 64th International Aerospace Congress in 2013. Still, the hotel didn't feel very welcoming. It seemed people could smoke indoors, and the smell in my room was unpleasant.

I had a very good stay from 8th to 13th September 2009. The hospitality and housekeeping were very good, and I especially enjoyed the food, including the soups and other Chinese dishes.
