Yitel Hotel

The rooms were basic but clean, and the location is handy: close to the subway, near Ri Tan park, and within walking distance of Beijing railway station. If you don’t speak Chinese, be ready for some difficulty, since English-speaking staff aren’t always available. The hotel website also doesn’t always match what you find in person. Staff will try to help, but it’s best to call ahead and confirm details if you can. For American travelers, the quality is similar to Hotel 6.

The room was clean and nice, but the window is tiny and faces another room. I could hear through the walls, and the Wi-Fi was really slow. It was okay overall.

The room felt very modern and spacious inside, with everything we needed. The location was good too, and the staff were kind, polite, and helpful.

There are a few good local places to eat and get takeaway nearby. The rooms are cramped and small, though. Decent value, but nothing great.
