We spent a week here in Beijing. The room was clean, service was good, and the location was incredible.

The hotel is only two floors and has a traditional feel, with lovely furniture in the rooms. It's in a pleasant neighborhood very close to the Forbidden city. I had trouble finding many reviews before I arrived, so I looked into it quite a bit. Don't expect modern luxury services, though.

The staff were spectacular and very accommodating to English speakers, with a translation device always ready. The location is great, though the nearest metro stop is about 10-15 minutes away. Rooms look a little worn, and the bathrooms were slightly mildewy.
