The room and bathroom were clean, and the linen was neat. It felt cramped, though, with three single beds squeezed into one room. We stayed here in August 2025 when entering Tibet, China, for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra package tour from M/s Trip To Temples.

The rooms are carpeted and have attached bathrooms, and the hotel infrastructure seems good. Each room has three single beds, so triple occupancy is the default. But the cleaning was poor: there was hair and grime in the shower, stains on the pillows and blankets, empty bottles under the bed, and small wrappers behind the curtain. It looked like staff had only made the bed and put things back in place before handing over the room. You’ll need to bring your own toiletries, including soap, shampoo, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. There’s an electric kettle, but no tea, coffee, or creamer. The rooms also have no iron, cupboard hangers, or TV, and there isn’t a TV in the lobby either. There are no phones in the rooms, so you can’t call reception or another room if something comes up. WiFi is terrible, with no reception in the rooms. There may be a signal in a few spots in the corridor, which means sitting out there in the cold to get online. The receptionists seemed unqualified, looked about 18, didn’t speak English, and were generally unhelpful. One boy who seemed to sit in the lobby all day knew English, Hindi, Nepali, and Chinese. He was a savior when we needed to communicate with the hotel staff.

I stayed three nights here two years ago while on my kmy. It’s a nice place to stay in town, and Indian food was available.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and did their best to help, though there was a bit of a language problem. The room had good facilities. A very nice hotel.

A great hotel, with a comfortable, pleasant room. The shower was hot and there was a heater.
