10/10
The buffet food was tasty and fairly priced, and security felt excellent. My room was clean and well lit, with a great bed and plenty of outlets. The kitchenette had a microwave, a few dishes, a washing machine, and a drying rack, along with the usual room amenities. The staff were all pleasant, and enough of them spoke English for me to make myself understood.

8/10
It has the feel of a typical Chinese-Western style hotel. Breakfast is good, though dinner isn't anything special and I wouldn't recommend it. The food and drink selection is fine, with the usual mix of Chinese and Western options. It's somewhat popular with locals, but you don't need a reservation. Some staff speak good English, so communication should be easy. Getting a taxi could be the only snag if you aren't using a phone app.

2/10
It looked sleek and clean, but was filthy. I ate sashimi at the cafe and it hadn't even been cleaned properly. After eating sashimi with yellow mold on it, I came down with intense salmonella. I wouldn't trust these people to run a restaurant, let alone a hotel.

Comfortable, with warm rooms and a good Chinese-style breakfast. It's a good hotel, just under a new name with the same rooms.

The food was splendid, and the room was nice. Best of all, it's very close to Jilin University.
