At Yamato Hotel, you can still get a feel for its former prestige, an opportunity worth taking. It does lack modern services and anything especially new.

Right across from Changchun Station, Chunyi Hotel (Chunyi Hotel) is worth seeing if you're interested in historic architecture. It was formerly the "Yamato Hotel (Xinjing Yamato Hotel)", operated by the South Manchuria Railway Company. The hotel has been in operation for over 100 years and still welcomes guests today. The exterior is lovely, and inside, the lobby, staircase, chandeliers, and other details still show its past. It doesn't feel old, and it's been kept in beautiful condition as a historical relic.
