The room was large, classic in style, and quiet, with a comfortable feel. I liked the bathtub too. The gym and swimming pool are on level 5. Breakfast had lots of good options. Huangxing Walking Street, Changsha IFS, and 10-1 Streets are around a 10-15 minute walk, about 1.5 km. I'd stay two nights and spend the day exploring the shopping streets.

They don't run air conditioning at certain times of year. My room stayed at 27°C and wouldn't cool down, even though the hallways and lobbies were air-conditioned and cool. It was really hard to sleep in that heat.

The room was comfortable, with a classy interior, and the hotel had a grand look and pleasant atmosphere. Both buffets were good: the international dinner had a huge range of high-quality food, and breakfast was fantastic. Huangxing Walking Street's shopping and food areas are relatively close, about a 20-minute walk.

The room was comfortable and really nice. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a huge selection, including German, Western, Chinese, and Japanese dishes. We especially loved the desserts, which weren't too sweet. My friends and I sampled a little of each cake and enjoyed every one.

I only stopped by to meet a friend for dessert, not to stay. The pastries were the usual Western kind, though my friend seemed to really enjoy them. The hotel is fairly central, within 2 km on foot of Changsha city centre and about 1 km from the subway. It looks a little dated, but is well maintained.
