The breakfast buffet was good enough to send me back three times, once just for dumplings. I came to Changsha for the food, but Country Garden Phoenix Hotel made me want to stay. The room was so comfortable I nearly forgot how to walk, and the lobby was grand enough for a royal wedding. Staff were so smiley you'd think I was a celebrity, though I'm not. The view made me want to write poetry. I almost called my boss to say I was moving in. If you're in Changsha and skip this hotel, you're doing vacation wrong.

It's a peaceful, cozy, luxurious hotel with friendly people and very strict upkeep. The location is great too, with artistic things and nature around.

A convenient location, and the hotel is large, clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and have complete amenities. It seems most tour groups stay here.

The price was reasonable for our small family, and the value was good. I found it quite clean. I'm fussy about bedding, so I was glad the sheets and duvet cover were white. Shopping nearby is a bit limited. Everyday items are available, but there are no big supermarkets, just small ones.
