The room was modern and very good, with a comfortable bed and extra pillows. I also liked the complimentary Lavazza coffee machine in the room. The bathroom had both a shower and rain shower, plus all the bathroom amenities, and there were plenty of power outlets. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of Chinese and Western food. Service was excellent as well, and check-in and checkout were quick.

It's a nice, new hotel, but service is lacking. The executive lounge doesn't meet SPG standards: there was no staff, and I couldn't check in or out or get any service there. Room service also seemed not to exist. I couldn't find information in the room or get food delivered to it. If great service is what you want, try the Sheraton instead.

The Google Maps pin is in the wrong place. The hotel is nearly 1 km southeast, on Zhengtangpo road. Its correct location is also on Google Maps under the name Zhongjian Courtyard Marriott.

The facilities are pretty good and the service was good, though some details are missing compared with other Courtyard hotels in Shanghai or Beijing. It's still quite new, so it will probably become a well-oiled machine over time.

The worst breakfast I've had at a Marriott in Asia. The eggs and fried noodles were the only edible things.
