James at the concierge helped me receive a courier package when I couldn't manage without a China phone number. The room was spacious, the service great, and the hotel sits right by the river, within walking distance of many tourist attractions.

That bathtub is set up perfectly for a soak with a glass of wine while watching the river and boats. The room also had a Dyson fan-less hair dryer, much quieter than the loud ones you often find. We stayed June 22-24, 2025, on the 56th floor. In the morning I opened the curtains and saw the river and an island, with clouds softening the sunshine. It was an amazing view, and it brought back a conversation with a colleague about the poem "Le Pont Mirabeau." Breakfast was another big highlight. For $12 there were at least a hundred items, and I spent forty minutes trying them. Everything I picked was great. The eggs were cage free, with orange yolks, which stood out after seeing low-grade eggs at expensive hotel buffets. Don't miss breakfast here. And if you like food stalls, the night market right next door is worth a look.

The room met expectations, though it's odd that a fairly recently furnished hotel has no dedicated DND switch and makes you hang a sign on the door. I heard the concierge wouldn't take my Taobao parcel, which arrived before me, and told the courier to leave it in a downstairs locker. It's tucked away in a very inconspicuous, hard-to-navigate corner. The courier also said the concierge staff may have verbally abused him while telling him to put it there. Yikes.

Hugo Xia, who works at the 7th floor swimming pool, is such a kind, nice gentleman. We love him. Highly recommend this hotel!
