The place was quiet and the rates were great, perhaps because the hotel is new and not very busy. The finishes are high end, and the breakfast buffet was very good. A lot of the staff spoke English, which helped. There was only one English TV channel, CGTV, and the TV wasn't easy to use for streaming, with some unfamiliar apps. The room was hot, over 75° F, because the hotel's AC had been switched off centrally somewhere. The 2nd floor Chinese restaurant was very expensive and had a limited selection. There was also a small dinner restaurant with reasonable prices and a few Western and Chinese options. The Chinese yellow croaker was good, but the food took a long time to come out. The cream of mushroom soup was only so-so, barely warm, and not worth the price.
