The rooms are very big, which is the hotel's best feature. Its location only makes sense if you're going to the Dinosaur amusement park, since there are no shops or restaurants nearby. The lobby is currently under construction, so there are no restaurants or lounge seating available and you're basically limited to staying in your room. Staff communication is a challenge if you don't speak Chinese, as they effectively don't speak English and everything has to be translated on a smartphone. In summer, the dated air conditioning can't keep up.

The staff were really nice, and as far as I remember the rooms were very clean. Housekeeping did knock every 10 minutes in the morning to clean, though. I liked the hotel, which was the first place I stayed in China.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the spacious dining area made it more satisfying than at some hotels abroad. The hotel is a short walk from the dinosaur park, so lots of families stay here. There’s a convenience store right across the street, but not much else nearby for food. We had dinner at the hotel’s hot pot buffet, which was very crowded, and eating the same kind of meal two nights in a row got boring. Check-in could be better. The bed, pillows, and room were satisfactory, though the safe was difficult to use.
