10/10
The central location, surrounded by shopping malls, made getting around very convenient, and this is certainly our preferred hotel in Li Yang. Breakfast was generous, nicely presented, and one of the better spreads we've had. The room was well maintained, with amenities provided and furniture that looked almost new, without scratches. Our only complaint was the smoke in the air. We hadn't specifically requested a non-smoking room, and had to put up with it, though the room did have a French-style window for ventilation.

A little dated.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent every morning. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner of local Chinese dishes in the restaurant. It's a super nice, large, clean hotel in Liyang. The rooms are five-star, though they may be a little dated.

The breakfast didn't have a huge range, but what was there felt simple and nicely done. The rooms were neat and clean, and the service was excellent, just what I'd expect from a long-established five-star hotel.
