The main drawback on both of my stays was the shower. Even with the glass doors shut, water got all over the bathroom. Otherwise, it’s a decent place and pretty convenient. A first-class high-speed train from SZ North to Chaosan station costs 171¥, then the 8¥ bus stops right in front of the hotel. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the old city, Kaiyan temple, and Paifang street. I’ve stayed a couple of times, about 400¥ a night for three nights with breakfast included, and there’s free WiFi.

I was told to stay at this hotel in early September, but then noticed the fine print saying it would be under renovation from July to October 2023. Would it still be comfortable to stay there? Please advise.

I left something in my room, and Mr Zhang kindly sent it to me in Guangzhou. It arrived within 1 day. The service was very good, and he was a big help.
