The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and breakfast had lots of choice and tasted good. We had a really enjoyable family holiday in Chaozhou at Hampton by Hilton Fortune Centre. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, especially Ms Yami and Eva. I’d happily recommend it.

The employees were great, but I wouldn’t recommend Hampton by Hilton Chaozhou. My room was very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were hairs on the toilet, bathroom floor, and in the shower, and the hand soap bottle looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned from the start. A strong, unpleasant smell hit me in the hallway as soon as I got off the elevator. It was a disappointing stay, and I won’t return.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, so finding somewhere to eat is easy, and the main tourist area is also easy to reach from here. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and took care of the changes we needed without any trouble. Thanks, xiaozhao and xiaoyu.

There’s a small mall close by with a supermarket and a few places to eat, which was handy. Getting to the ancient town took a bit of a ride, but Didi was quick to get, easy to use, and inexpensive. This was my first visit to Chaozhou, and I stayed at Hampton by Hilton @ Fortune Centre. Our twin double-bed room was spacious and sparkling clean, and the breakfast selection was plentiful and decent. You can request complimentary local Chaozhou porridge for supper after 9:30pm. Good value for the money.
