Arvin, the manager on duty, and the rest of the staff were incredible. The hotel is beautiful and modern, with great food and shopping within walking distance. It’s north of downtown and about 15 minutes from Panda Research Base. I’ll be back soon!

The room looks modern, though figuring out the shower and some other features was confusing at first. This Marriott in Chengdu opened in April 2024, but my Friday evening check-in was the worst. Jerry on staff didn’t seem well trained. It’s far north of the city, so it makes sense if you’re nearby for a concert or the panda base.

The room felt new, clean, and very nice, with an international standard. The downside is that it’s far from the community.

The place has a clean, pleasant atmosphere and feels quite modern. Breakfast was okay.

Clean and luxurious, but they didn’t have air conditioning even though it wasn’t quite winter yet.
