The owner is welcoming and pays close attention to what guests need. You can spend the day playing mahjong or having tea at the hotel, though there’s no breakfast. The rooms are roomy and clean, surrounded by greenery. I’ve tried a tatami room here before and liked it. This was my second visit to Wufengxi and my second time choosing this hotel, right in the heart of Wufengxi Ancient Town. It’s a lovely spot for an overnight stay, and feels more upscale than other hotels, with a retro antique look that fits the town.
