Buddhazen Hotel

Getting luggage upstairs is a hassle because there's no elevator. The rooms can smell a little, and the showers are small, though the water pressure is good. The hotel's nicely decorated, and the staff are friendly. They provide free drinking water and will bring more if you ask at the front desk. There's lots within walking distance, including cafes, restaurants, and shops, but cars can't drop you right at the entrance. The closest drop-off is at Jinwei Dumplings shop. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 9:30. There's not much choice, but what they serve tastes decent. Check-out is at 12pm, though they're flexible and can extend it to 2pm.

A charming hotel with an old-fashioned feel, good rooms and breakfast, and an incredible location.

The staff are lovely, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory, too. It's a lovely hotel in the wen shu monastery area, with a great location. Note: the location shown on Google is inaccurate. I've attached a screenshot showing where the hotel actually is.

Breakfast was tasty, though there wasn’t much choice, and the staff helped with our luggage since there’s no lift. I really liked the decor and the boutique feel. It’s a great hotel in a good location.
