The Sichuan restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food at very reasonable prices, though it’s a bit spicy and definitely worth trying. There’s also a local tour office beside the lobby, with helpful and reliable people who booked our panda base and museum tickets, night shows, and transport. We’d arrived exhausted at 8:30am after an overnight flight, and the hotel arranged rooms for us right away, letting us check in at 8:30am with no extra charge. We were so impressed with the service.

The breakfast buffet was quite good, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Service was friendly, and it’s good value overall. We were just a five-minute walk from Tianfu square, right in central Chengdu. I think my room may have been a smoking one because there was an ashtray, though it didn’t smell particularly bad. I’d still prefer a non-smoking room.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it’s easy to find a taxi for the trip to ChengDu international airport, which isn’t far away. I stayed here on April 17,2019. ChengDu squire is very close, with malls and shopping centers all around, plus plenty of hot-pot restaurants nearby.

The pool was cold, there’s no H24 room service, and there’s no fitness club. The spa was definitely closed.
