Chengdu Joyhub Air Hotel

For an early flight or a transit stop, the location works really well. The hotel is right by the terminal, around four minutes on foot from T1 and maybe six or seven from T2, so the shuttle they provide isn't really needed. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor was good. You can order on a tablet, which has photos and an English option. I can recommend this hotel.

The girls loved this place. It was our last hotel before heading home, and an airport stay made sense with our 10am flight the next morning. We chose a room that could fit our family of four, including our two girls aged 9 and 3. The Trip photos matched what we found in person, down to the rocking horse, bedsheets and soft toys. Well, almost, since the two toys weren't pandas. Our wall-to-wall bay window looked out over the "resort" and gave us a panoramic view, including the "suspended" Cloud-something dining room on the 8th floor. The 8th and 9th floors were executive floors. The bathroom was lovely, with a bathtub and a mini collapsible tub for toddlers. There was also a separate WC room with a foldable toddler seat. We had dinner at the all-day dining buffet. CNY298 for two adults felt like a steal, and kids under 120cm or something ate free. Breakfast was served in the same place and was pretty good, though we didn't have enough time to enjoy it fully. I also had a bottle of Hoegaarden beer at the bar as a nightcap, for CNY38.
