When I stayed in April 2017, the proprietor gave excellent personal service from the time I booked. Getting to the Apartment was a bit of a challenge, but once there I was welcomed with drinks or soup and free desserts. My studio had a Giant Panda theme, and they provided Chinese herbs for a foot soak in a bucket of water. I returned to the same room on April 21-22, 2018, but the service from the different staff was only mediocre. The room had become worn and torn, and I felt bad that the warm, loving feeling was gone.

The hosts were extremely helpful and spoke good English. They had a city map on the wall and a detailed folder with step by step directions to the main local attractions, which I used a lot. It’s a clean, comfortable apartment in a friendly neighbourhood, Airbnb style. I’d definitely stay here again!

The staff spoke English very well, and the rooms were nice and clean. There’s a washing machine guests can use for free. We really enjoyed staying at the Chengdu Panda Apartment. Ask them to send directions in advance, since it’s difficult to find the apartments without them.

The room was decent and the price reasonable. It’s near the metro, about a 5 minute walk, and Wide and Narrow Alley, or Kuanzai Alley, is about 10 minutes away. Service was 5.0 and the location 4.5.
