The rooms are really spacious, though the wood gives them an older feel. Breakfast was Chinese style, with noodles and stir-fried dishes, and was not too bad. It's in a quiet spot quite far from the city, but there's a large mall within walking distance.

The room was gloomy, with very little proper lighting, and the whole atmosphere felt uncomfortable rather than relaxing. I was there in December, and neither the water heater nor the room air conditioner worked. When I told the front desk, they insisted the temperature was “normal.” It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. In winter, they seemed to think it was acceptable to shower in cold water or sleep in a room at 1 degree. I can't believe they let these problems slide. A completely disappointing stay, and I can't see myself returning. Definitely not recommended.

I was happy with the hotel overall. The room had all the amenities in both the bedroom and bathroom, and the tub was big enough for two to relax in. Hot water worked very well, the air conditioning handled freezing weather, and the room was perfectly soundproof. Small street food spots and a mini supermarket nearby made it easy to shop for things. Breakfast was Chinese style, and the Taiwan milk tea was delicious.
