Getting around with two little kids was easier than expected. The hotel was easy to navigate with a stroller, and food and shopping were close by. We spent a week at Tianfu Sunshine Hotel with our two children, both under six, and had a great stay. Breakfast became something we looked forward to each morning. There was a wide choice of freshly cooked food, with Asian and Western options for everyone. The staff were kind and ready to help with anything, including arranging transportation without hassle. Our room was always replenished with bottled water, and the laundry service was reliable all week, which was a lifesaver while traveling with kids. We'd happily recommend it and come back.

The room was clean and quiet, with everything we needed. We stayed four nights, not in a row, and had a rollaway bed added to the Twin Room. It made things a bit cramped, but we managed. Breakfast had a good range and was good quality. Reception, concierge, and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. With the location too, it was a nice hotel.

We checked out right away and moved to another hotel. When we left, the staff seemed unhappy, as though it were our fault. We had chosen this hotel for its location and arrived with high expectations, but the stay was very disappointing. At check-in, at least three staff members who helped us couldn't speak English. The rooms felt old and outdated, and weren't among the cleanest we'd stayed in in China. Only after checking in did we notice a letter in each room saying the air conditioning was under maintenance and wouldn't work during our stay. They should have told us at check-in, but nobody mentioned it. We had three rooms. Two were hot like saunas, while the third was okay. When we reported the problem, staff offered fans for each room. The central air conditioning was running when we entered, though, and brought in polluted air from outside, making the rooms very smoky.

After a hot day of sightseeing, the upgraded room was a welcome comfort. It's a very good four-star hotel, and the location is convenient, with a shopping center right across the street and a really nice hot pot restaurant nearby. There are also plenty of other places to eat within a 10-minute walk.
