Crowne Plaza Chengdu Wuhou by IHG

The breakfast spread is impressive, with lots to choose from, especially the desserts and local fruit. I also found the lobby very clean and modern, and the room had a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and was clean. It's a relaxing place to sleep. We arrived at night for two nights, and the scale of the place made me think it's geared toward convention groups. It sits in what seems to be an office district, with big buildings but few shops or people around at night. Once you're checked in, there's not much to do nearby beyond resting. Room service can take too long, or the menu isn't available, so for food after 9 pm it's better to head outside. Turn right from the main entrance and there's a local food street about a 10-minute walk away, open until 10. In under five minutes, turning right and then left, you'll find milk tea, coffee, and fast food. There are also street food vendors by the small plaza at the end of the building. This has been my favorite place around here so far.
