There’s a park and museum nearby, and the hotel has a nice pool, lounge, and gym. It works well for conferences, though it’s not especially close to the metro. The room layout could be better, since cupboard doors get in the way of the doorways.

The place is clean and very good, and there are plenty of shops nearby plus a nice park. The location itself isn’t the best, and staff don’t speak English, which makes communication difficult. Still, they really try to help. There was no fridge in the room. I’d definitely come back.

I’ll definitely stay at Felton Gloria Grand Hotel again. It’s at the top of my list. The facilities are fantastic, and both the management and staff are so helpful. The staff take real pride in looking after you, and all the little things they do mean a lot. Nothing seems like too much trouble. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is a long way from downtown. With no metro, we had to take a taxi to download for RMB150 each way, after bargaining rather than paying by distance. Hopefully the metro opens soon.

The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. There’s a supermarket in the hotel with reasonable prices, plus a clothing shop.
