I’d happily come back to this hotel if I’m in Chengdu again. The room was roomy and comfortable, the AC worked, and I really appreciated having both a shower and a separate fancy bathtub. Service was wonderful too.

The room was really comfortable and nice. It’s a cool hot spring hotel where you can book a room for just two hours, and the tubs are filled with hot spring water. Ours was big enough for one person, though some rooms have bigger tubs.

This is a fancy mall with great shops, though a lot of the merchandise is overpriced and some of it seems fake, especially the Versace dining sets. I didn’t see a hotel area, so maybe it’s somewhere inside, but I’m not sure. There’s a Starbucks too. About 90% of the stores are for women’s clothing; the men’s selection is mostly formal Chinese-made brands.

Modern and convenient.

The breakfast kept us from getting bored even over three nights, with plenty of choices and different dim sum and Chinese side dishes each day. The dandan noodles and porridge were especially tasty. For five of us, we paid 150,000 yen for three nights in two twin rooms, breakfast included, and an extra bed added. At this level, a Tokyo hotel with breakfast would be 100,000 yen a night for a room, probably around 78,000 yen even in the off-season. The hotel is beside a department store, and the basement supermarket was handy for souvenirs. There was also a food court and a KFC outside the basement. Some front desk staff didn’t speak English, but someone quickly came out from the back, and one male staff member spoke a little Japanese. We were welcomed with oranges and pears on the first day. The entrance smelled pleasant, and the rooms were spacious, luxurious, and clean. They were comfortable and quiet, and the bathrooms were cleaned and bottled water replenished every day. Our family of five stayed in two rooms for three nights, with an extra bed. It’s a wonderful hotel I’d highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay again if I get the chance to return to Chengdu.
