Grand Bay Hotel Chengdu

My partner and I came all the way from Scotland and were greeted with smiles when we arrived at this enormous hotel. The staff helped us check in and explained that we’d have a personal assistant, with someone available whenever we needed help. It was a 10/10 stay, and very affordable for somewhere that felt like a palace fit for an Emperor. Our room had an amazing view, plus a huge hot tub, electric blinds and shutters, and a record player that starts when you walk through the door. There was also a Toto Chinese toilet and a Dyson hairdryer. The gym was top quality too, with heavy weights, a boxing trainer, and state of the art treadmills. We loved the restaurant’s food and drink selection. At night, the sky bar had live music, cocktails, and snacks. The couple performing were great, and we can’t wait to see them again. Nathan and Mesi deserve a special mention for being incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ll be back soon. Thank you so much!

The upper floors have city views across Chengdu. The facilities are good, and it feels like a safe place to stay. There’s a gym, swimming pool, and body massage available, and the food is good.

A great choice for families. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it.

Lindy gave attentive, thoughtful service with a sweet smile, which made the salt bath feel comfortable and pleasant. I found it refreshing.
