GreenTree Inn Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley RenMin Park Hotel

I was here for a visa run because the Immigration Office is only five minutes away. GreenTree is central, near Tainfu Square, Sichuan Museum, and the Statue of Moa, and the price is very wallet-friendly for that location. I got what I paid for. This chain is like the GreenTree I stayed at in Hefei, which I reviewed. It's a business hotel suited to local business needs, not Marriot-level accommodation, though some foreign visitors may expect that. Staff may lack English skills, which matters in tourism, and I had WiFi trouble that meant leaving the hotel to get enough bandwidth for a video conference. Staff training and development could address those issues over time. I hold back on other criticism, though I do question the use of “business hotel” in the branding. Strictly for my regulars!
