We chose it because it made catching our early flight really convenient, and the staff were very friendly. The room was stylish, but we could smell smoke in it. I hope they’ll keep smoking and smoke-free rooms separate.

The breakfast selection is one of the best I’ve seen at an airport hotel, especially for the price. In winter the room gets stuffy because guests can only adjust the fan speed on the centralized air conditioning. Opening the window helps, though then you have to put up with aircraft noise.

For a short stop before an early flight, this place works really well, and the shuttle to CTU runs every 30 minutes. The only awkward part is getting around if you’re a foreigner without a car and can’t use Didi. There’s a supermarket in the hotel where you can get Chinese water beer, and it has pretty much what you need for an overnight stay. The rooms are huge and have loads of equipment: a king-size bed, minibar, big TV, desk, sitting area, large living space, and a handy walk-in shower.
