Howdy Smart Hotel

The breakfast was the worst among all the hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s just one elevator for an 11-story building, and the price is above average, with extra charges for every service. I travel a lot for work and personal enrichment, and I’m used to adapting to different situations while looking for authentic experiences. Still, I spent my last two nights in China here, and I wouldn’t come back if I had a choice. If you can choose, don’t stay here.

There’s a convenience store right next door, and the hotel has a small laundry room plus a washroom in the lobby. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Rd metro station. The room was clean and a decent size, with a soft, comfortable bed. Very convenient.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was neat and clean. It’s only a short walk to the MRT station, which made for an easy, comfortable stay.

The hotel is great and about a 10-minute walk from the bustling area. We booked the panoramic room with the extra-large balcony, but the room itself was very small. Luckily, they were able to move us to another room.
