Mercure Chengdu Longtan

We arrived late on a tour and left early, so I can’t really judge the location. It’s definitely not downtown, and we didn’t get to look around the area. The twin room was clean and spacious, with two beds larger than singles. Each had two great pillows, one latex pillow with a neck indentation and one traditional soft one. The sheets, pillowcases, and duvet felt clean and premium. The separate shower and toilet were roomy, and there was a Japanese style bidet. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, all very fresh. The fruit was top quality, and the melons were the sweetest we’d had on this trip. There were Danish pastries among the bread choices too. The room had lovely details throughout: neutral sandy colors, a four-seat couch, a desk, and plenty of bedside tables. There were lots of outlets for our devices and a huge TV, maybe 70 inches. Even the glasses, mugs, kettle, and hangers felt carefully chosen. Nothing seemed substandard, and those little touches made me feel comfortable.
