I couldn't find much information about this hotel, so I was worried it might be awful. It turned out to be beautiful, with a great room that looked just like the one photo available. The room felt brand new and was very clean, had a great design, and even though the description made it sound like it might be a smoking room, it wasn't. My view was just like the picture too. The main drawback was how little English the staff spoke. There was only one man we could ask to arrange a taxi, more like an unauthorized Uber, to dinner at a place he chose and then back. We tried to order snacks and an alcoholic drink, but even though beers were on display, we couldn't get one. After asking three people, nobody explained why, so we settled for tea. Breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is very close to the panda and the mountain. It was a great stay at an affordable price.

Set halfway up Qingcheng Mountain, this is a very nice hotel. Getting around is the catch, since you have to call a taxi whenever you want to go anywhere.
