Niccolo Chengdu

I had a fabulous stay at Niccolo Hotel Chengdu and would gladly come back. From the porter through to the front office, everyone was warm, professional, and attentive. Housekeeping did a lot to make me comfortable, and the turndown service was a lovely extra. I stayed yesterday and had a fantastic experience.

What made the stay especially easy was how the staff looked after my Taobao packages before I arrived. The bell boy was also always ready to welcome me and help with baggage or shopping bags. Service was warm, professional, and attentive the whole time. Niccolo Chengdu sits right in the city center, next to IFS and just steps from Tai Koo Li, with shopping and dining close by. It was a great mix of convenience and hospitality, and I'd highly recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection, and I appreciated the welcome fruit and snacks, along with the nice new toiletries. The view of the Temple and Taikoo Li was amazing. It's also in a great location, with bright lighting and a friendly, attentive team that made the place feel like a luxury hotel. I liked it much more than the Ritz Carlton I had originally booked, so I cancelled my remaining nights there. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

The pastry here is hard to describe. The birthday cake from the lobby lounge tasted terrific, and the pictures say it all. The hotel has well-sized guest rooms and Florence-made boutique bath amenities designed for the brand. Breakfast is thoughtfully chosen, mixing Chengdu flavours with Western options, and hot dishes can be ordered so they're served at their best. The location is right among the city's fashionable, trendy, iconic places that visitors want to see. It's the first luxury lifestyle hotel brand from The Wharf Hotel Management, a renowned Hong Kong-based asset management company with landmarks in key cities across China.
