R Royalss Hotel

I planned on staying two nights but wound up here for five. The staff are fantastic, and the service has been amazing. Breakfast is a buffet with a nice mix of European and Chinese food, so there's plenty to sample. The gym and laundry room are small, but they have what you need. Chen Shixue at the front desk was especially attentive to my questions and gave exceptional service.

I booked through trip.com and found the hotel really comfortable. The buckwheat mattress and pillow were especially nice, and the room was bright, clean, and hygienic. After a long day on my feet, they gave me a complimentary mugwort foot bath that warmed them up and eased the travel fatigue. The buffet breakfast had lots of ingredients and tasted good, and the free afternoon tea was a nice surprise. Service was thoughtful throughout, and the facilities and small touches made the place feel welcoming. The location was handy for getting around, and overall it exceeded what I expected. A comforting place to stay while traveling, and well worth it.

There are restaurants all around, plus a coffee shop and minimart downstairs, and the hotel is close to the subway. I highly recommend it. Getting around from here was easy. IFS and Taikoo Li are only a few minutes away on foot, Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli are reachable by subway, and there are tourist spots all around the busy Chunxi Road commercial area. It's a convenient base for seeing Chengdu's fashionable side. Before we arrived, the hotel arranged a room and sent us its location, which was thoughtful. At check-in, the front desk moved quickly, greeted us with sincere smiles, and offered brown sugar ginger tea. They also provided free luggage storage after checkout, toiletries at the desk, and hand-drawn maps. The afternoon tea and late-night snacks were generous and tasty, and a bowl of hot porridge after sightseeing really helped me feel at home. My room was spacious and bright, with a modern but cozy look, comfortable bedding, good toiletries, and a bathroom with a separate shower and toilet. It stayed quiet despite the busy neighborhood, and the high-speed Wi-Fi was fast. Breakfast offered a tasty mix of Chinese and Western food, with different flavors each day. There's also a free gym and laundry room. The modern decor is nice for photos. The stay was comfortable and good value, and the attentive service and handy location left me with lovely memories. I'd choose it again next time I'm in Chengdu and recommend it to friends visiting the city.
