Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel

Amy at the front desk especially stood out. She was impressive, sincere, and professional, and went out of her way to help. She even figured out what my wife needed and took care of the problem before we had to ask. The staff are responsive and thoughtful, and I’m very happy with the hotel. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it.

Our group of 10 is on the way to Chongqing as I write this. We liked the clean, spacious room and the hotel’s location, which made it easy to get to food and drinks. Amy and Jessica made the stay especially memorable. Amy was patient, attentive to small details, and very professional when talking with us. After we lost our room card while outside the hotel, she reassured us, checked whether it was still in our room, then called to say she’d followed up and cut off access to the card. She told us to get back to sightseeing. Jessica checked in one evening while we were discussing our Chongqing trip with Amy. She suggested an option that suited the group, called the driver right away to make arrangements, and made sure we were comfortable with the van for the three-hour journey. Before we left, she said to call her if we had any problems on the way. Their service and professionalism convinced us we’d stay at the same hotel again if we return to Chengdu.

Rhombus Chengdu is roomy and close to Taikoo Li, which is convenient. I was especially touched by the woman who cleaned my room. She noticed I was sick and had a lot of medicine beside the bed, so she left me a note and an extra bottle of water. Thank you.

We found Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel (Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel) very convenient, right beside Chengdu Tai Koo Li (Chengdu Tai Koo Li), with its malls and shops nearby. Check-in was easy and pleasant, and the receptionist explained which things in the room would cost extra. We paid an 800 CNY deposit for our two-night stay. Our Deluxe Twin room was spacious and had a bathtub, with the bathroom’s dry and wet areas separated. You could look out at the city while soaking. One thing to keep in mind: the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom is somewhat see-through, so a travel companion might be able to see inside. Toiletries were supplied, the towels and sheets were clean, the water pressure was strong, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. It was good value. Interestingly, booking through Agoda on the day itself was cheaper than booking ahead, though that’s a bit of a gamble.
