The staff were the only real bright spot. Everyone was warm, friendly, and eager to help, which is why I’m giving one star. The building itself feels abandoned and left to decay. Wallpaper was peeling, the shower leaked, there were strange marks in the bathroom, and the floorboards were loose and warped. I was even given a room with holes where floorboards were missing, though reception changed it right away. The gym and meeting rooms were closed by local authorities for not meeting fire code. This didn’t feel like a normal Hyatt brand hotel at all.

Two subway lines are within a five-minute walk, and the hotel is right in the city center. The windows don’t block much sound, and it seems like this may have been another hotel before being rebranded. For around 300 RMB, it’s a decent room. I wouldn’t consider it worth more.
