Being in Raffles City made getting around, shopping, and finding food really easy, especially with kids. The apartment was roomy, clean, and had what my family needed. As a visitor from abroad, I found everything straightforward: the layout and facilities were easy to figure out, and the staff spoke great English. They were welcoming and helped with directions, getting around, and ideas for seeing Chongqing. We had a hassle-free stay, and I'd recommend it to families and international visitors.

David was a big help with arranging and coordinating our Didi rides. The room was huge, and having a shopping mall downstairs made the location hard to beat. It was a little cold because the central heating was off, but the staff quickly brought us a portable micro-heater, which made it comfortable. I'd happily recommend Ascott Raffles City.

The indoor pool looks out over the skyline, there's a gym, and the hotel connects to a huge mall. The furnished apartment was much cheaper than US hotels, and the front desk was kind and professional, bringing things we needed like water and coffee. Breakfast was inexpensive with plenty of Chinese dishes as well as ham, sausage, and eggs. You're right in Raffles City, close to everything, beside Line 1, and only a short walk from Hongyadong. At night the area reminded me of Spirited Away. If you enjoy walking or taking public transit, this is a great base in Chongqing.

The river views and festive feel made the suite feel like home. I spent five nights there with my parents in the river view double bedroom suite, about 100 square meters. It's also very convenient for Chaotianmen, a great place to see the two rivers meet.
