The facilities look lovely, and breakfast was nice. The metro is close by too, which helps when you want to avoid the traffic.

The rooftop is open for free after a certain time in the evening, with a great nighttime view over Chongqing. Rooms are clean and modern, and the river-facing ones have a great city view.

The location was great, the property was well maintained, and breakfast tasted much better than at other properties. Everyone there was very nice. I checked in late and my feather-free room preference hadn't been noted, so I called the front desk. Cary, one of the duty managers, came up to apologize, then quickly changed the bedding with housekeeping even though it was late. The next day, he upgraded me to a beautiful suite. Despite that bedding hiccup, I had a wonderful stay.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They seem to realize when we're out even if we haven't put up the DND sign, so we come back to a clean room. At other hotels, it can be messy when guests forget to put the sign up. We'll definitely come back.

The executive lounge was well prepared for guests, and the rooms are neat and nice for the price. The lobby is on the 28th floor, the lounge on the 47th, and the gym, spa, and pool are on the 29th. The building is very tall and gives you a view of Chongqing, though if you want to enjoy the full scenery, I'd recommend Sheraton Chongqing hotel instead.
