The coffee at breakfast was terrible, and I couldn’t drink it. The internet is bad, only 1-2 mbs, and the dryer in the washing machine doesn’t work. The “universal” wall socket wouldn’t take Singapore plugs, and reception wouldn’t provide a $1 adapter. Shocking for a Singapore based brand. That was all just on the first day, and now I’m stuck here for four days. Help!

A good place to stay.

There’s a Fortune Mall supermarket nearby for groceries and daily necessities, but you need a membership to shop there, which isn’t friendly to people without a local number. For a walk, Bailin Park is close by, and Zhaomushan Forest Park is farther out for hiking. I stayed in a Studio Executive room just above the Citadines sign at the main entrance. It was clean and tidy, with complete kitchenware, and the cleaning staff were very polite. Breakfast was average, though not everything was spicy. They also had local Chongqing noodles made to order, which was quite nice.

A comfortable, cozy hotel.
