Four Points by Sheraton Chongqing

The location is great, just steps from the monument, pedestrian streets, shops, malls, and plenty of places to eat. There’s also a vehicle entrance out front, which made Didi rides and handling luggage easy. The hotel feels new, clean, and spacious, and Rumi Liu at the check-in desk gave us the best service. Super happy with our stay! 👍👍👍👍👍

The rooms were good, but the view and especially the noise ruined the experience. It was very loud, and I think the hotel should at least offer a discount when it can’t provide an alternative room. Reception staff didn’t feel welcoming or very communicative, and their English was quite limited. Disappointing.

Billie (Su LeLe) was a huge help during my four-night stay. I needed to send an extra bag to my next stop in Chengdu, and he carried the heavy luggage from my room and arranged the shipment for under $8 USD. The bag was waiting for me when I arrived. The accommodations were clean and the staff were exceptionally supportive throughout. A brilliant fix if you’re traveling with extra baggage!

The location is hard to beat for sightseeing, right in the city center by the pedestrian street, with main attractions and a subway line close by. I stayed three nights in a Landmark View High floor room. It was modern, clean, and had a great view, though it felt small and got uncomfortably hot. The AC seemed centrally controlled, and the window only opened a little. Staff brought a fan, but it didn’t help much. The doormen were friendly and helpful. Service was mostly good, though reception didn’t seem especially warm, and housekeeping kept ringing despite the DND sign, apparently to offer amenities. The self-service laundry was large and useful. The reception on level 29 had nice views, as did the glass elevator. It feels like a 4* hotel, modern and nice, and I’d recommend it as good value if warmer room temperatures aren’t an issue for you.
